It is fairly new addition to internet users. Till 1997 Macs shipped with Netscape Navigator and for five years after that, Apple entered into an agreement with Microsoft for a version of Internet Explorer. Safari was developed in 2003 and has been the default browser for the Mac ever since.
Just the beginning
Apple feels more Mac software’s to be launched for Windows users. Safari is free to download.
